Access data (server logs)

Every time you access our website, technically necessary data is collected. These so-called server log files include among other things IP address, time stamp, calling page, calling page, web browser, operating system. No personal data is used. This data is deleted after 30 days at the latest. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymised data records. However, in the case of illegal use, authorities may use this information for identification purposes.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes information such as your real name, address, postal address, telephone number. Information that is not directly related to your real identity is not included.

In principle, you can use our online services without disclosing your identity. If you register for one of our personalised services, we will ask you for your name and other personal information. It is your free decision whether you enter this data.

Information, correction and deletion

Personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. You have the right to request information about your data stored by us free of charge. You can have incorrectly recorded data corrected. You also have the right to have your data deleted, insofar as we are not required to store this data for a certain period of time due to statutory retention obligations, for example for tax or accounting purposes. In this case, we will delete the data immediately after the storage period has expired. In order for a blocking of data to be taken into account, this data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes.

Encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures via https with SSL certificates.

Links to other websites

Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations.

Cookies

When using these websites, cookies are stored on your end device during or after your visit to our online offers. These are small text packages that can be sent from a website to the browser, which stores them and sends them back again. Different information can be stored in cookies, which are read by the bureau that sets the cookie. They usually contain a characteristic string of characters (ID) that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again or when a page is changed. They primarily serve to make our online offers more user-friendly and effective overall. The user data collected in cookies is generally pseudonymised by technical precautions, which means that it is generally no longer possible to assign the data to the calling user.

Transient cookies, also known as temporary or "session cookies", are cookies that are deleted after you leave our online offer and close the browser.

Persistent or permanent cookies, they remain stored even after the browser is closed. For example, the login status or search terms entered can be saved. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. However, you can delete these cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as these cookies contain data for contract initiation or contract processing.

You can also use some of our services without cookies. To do this, you must configure your browser accordingly so that no cookies are accepted. Please use the help function for this. Please note, however, that you may not be able to use the full range of services.

Contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we store the information you provide in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO in order to answer your enquiry and to be able to ask possible follow-up questions.

If you use our contact form, your IP address will also be saved. The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us to process the contact. The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

We delete the enquiries if they are no longer required and no compulsory archiving obligations apply.

Children and young people

Children and young people under the age of 16 should not submit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians.

Script libraries, web fonts and integration of third-party services

Our offer sometimes includes content, services and performances of other providers. These are for example font libraries (e.g. Google Webfonts), script libraries (e.g. jQuery), maps (e.g. Google Maps), videos (e.g. YouTube), graphics and images from other websites.

In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is mandatory. The corresponding retrieval automatically triggers a connection to the operator, where corresponding server log files may then be generated.

Even though we endeavour to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, the web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", small text files that are stored on your computer and store data about the use of our website. The data generated by the cookie about the use of our website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Since IP anonymisation is activated on our websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google. This applies to member states of the European Union and other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In rare cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports for us and to collect other statistical data relevant to us. Your IP address will never be merged with other data stored on Google. The use of cookies can be prohibited by a setting in your browser; however, this may impair the presentation and use of our website under certain circumstances. You can deactivate the collection of data by Google Analytics using a special add-on for your browser: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the evaluation of the use of our website.
